When applications are accepted: On the first and third Tuesday of every month between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. Plan on being at the facility for at least an hour.

About the Local: Sheet Metal Workers Local 104 provides their contactors with the area’s most highly-skilled and highly-trained sheet metal professionals. The Local advocates for livable wages, excellent health insurance and retirement benefits through the collective bargaining process.

About the JATC: Today’s sheet metal industry, as always, needs highly skilled and motivated workers. The main source for developing such workers has been through apprenticeship programs, which an earn while you learn opportunity to launch a lifetime career. Apprentices receive quality training and limitless opportunities to advance, while earning a paycheck and great benefits. An apprentice learns through classroom study and on-the-job training, working side by side with a skilled journeyman, which allows them to gain both practical experience as well as the knowledge needed to progress through the program.
