The Multi-Craft Core Curriculum, also known as MC3, is a comprehensive pre-apprenticeship training program that was created and established by the North American Building Trades Union designed to provide a high standard curriculum that students can meet.
Apprenticeship programs serves as a pathway to careers with good pay and health benefits that are offered by the building and construction trades. Santa Clara and San Benito Counties Building and Construction Trades Council support and demonstrate the need for pre-apprenticeship programs.
These apprenticeship programs provide an “earn while you learn” strategy that has been considered for college credit. Once completing the apprenticeship, students will have obtained skills, certifications, and college credits that they can take with them anywhere in the United States.

Santa Clara and San Benito Counties Building and Construction Trades Council wants apprentices to provide high-quality work in the construction industry when on the job site. MC3 Pre-Apprenticeship Programs offer fulfilling careers to women and minorities as well as military service members who are transitioning out of the military.
