About the union: The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC) is one of North America’s largest building trades unions, with over a half-million members. With pride in their more than 135-year history, they lead the way in training, educating and representing the next generation of skilled construction professionals.

About the Local: The UBC Millwrights who are members of Northern California Millwrights Local 102 work to precisely manufacture, maintain and repair industrial equipment and fittings. Local 102 is committed to fighting for their members in order to ensure they receive the pay, health insurance and benefits they deserve for being highly skilled and highly trained tradesmen and tradeswomen.

About the JATC: The PleasantonTraining Center serves as the training facility for carpenters, millwrights, insulators, hardwood floor layers, pile drivers, scaffold erectors and shinglers. The training provided at NTCNC will equip apprentices with the skills and knowledge to have a successful career.
